COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Protecting California communities.

At Citadel, our customers’ communities are also our communities. Literally. We are proud to use our time and talent to help them shine, starting with our own neighborhoods. Here are examples of the ways Citadel has given back to the communities we serve.

HomeAid Sacramento

Citadel has very close ties to HomeAid Sacramento, which builds housing for families and individuals including veterans. Citadel employee Bryce Robicheau sits on HomeAid Sacramento’s Board of Directors and Citadel employees regularly volunteer at organization events.

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

Citadel contributed the labor to install the roof of a new home for a CAL FIRE Captain and his twin daughters when the TV show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition came to Clovis, California.

The Leaven

Citadel and our employees joined forces to make a significant donation to The Leaven, a nonprofit organization that provides mentoring and tutoring to some of Solano County’s most at-risk and underserved neighborhoods.

Wildfire Relief Fund

Citadel and our customers donated to Global Giving’s California Wildfire Relief Fund, which supports relief efforts for people impacted by wildfires. Support includes the provision of supplies such as food, water and medicines.

Habitat for Humanity

We believe everyone deserves a decent place to call home and to keep the lights on. That’s why we’ve partnered with Habitat for Humanity to install solar for families in need. It’s amazing to see how a stable home with reliable, cost-effective energy can transform lives in our community. You can read more about work with Habitat for Humanity here.

Sacramento Food Bank Turkey Drive

Hunger doesn’t take a day off, and neither does our commitment to helping our neighbors. We’re proud to support Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services, the largest hunger relief organization in Sacramento County. Each holiday season, Citadel contributes to the Turkey Drive to help fill the plates of our community members.

Associa Cares

When disaster strikes, communities need all the support they can get. Associa Cares is dedicated to rebuilding lives and communities affected by natural or manmade disasters. By joining forces with this nonprofit, we’re part of a network that springs into action when tragedy hits. Our contribution helps fund relief efforts for families and neighborhoods hit hard by unexpected crises.

AMC Charity

We love giving back while having fun. That’s why we joined the AMC Charity Golf Event in Roseville, California to support the SPCA of Solano County. This local non-profit animal shelter has been finding homes for pets since 1974. Our participation in the event helps fund their ongoing mission to unite animals with loving families.

Loma Vista Farm

Autumn brings more than just changing leaves–it brings opportunities to grow community. We were delighted to support our friends at Loma Vista Farm by delivering pumpkins to their annual pumpkin patch. Loma Vista Farm offers everything from school field trips to job training programs. By contributing to their annual pumpkin patch, we’re supporting their mission of connecting people with nature and each other. It’s a small way we can help cultivate environmental awareness and community bonds.
