Description: 

  • Manage crew to perform Battery and Solar installations. Candidates must have the  following qualities: 
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of installers on various residential homes, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and up to code. 
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure materials, equipment, and personnel are available for each project. 
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on all installed systems, ensuring compliance with  engineering designs, local regulations, and company standards. 
  • Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce safety protocols on-site, ensuring adherence to  OSHA guidelines and industry best practices. 
  • Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and resolve issues during installation, addressing electrical components and system functionality. 
  • Client Interaction: Act as the on-site point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring satisfaction throughout the installation process. 
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including timecards, material logs, and completion photo reports, submitting them in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  •  3 years experience as a Foreman or Lead Installer in solar PV system installations. • Proficient in electrical systems, including PV solar systems, wiring, and panel upgrades. • Familiarity with NEC codes and local building regulations. 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and train junior  installers. 
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. 
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and project  management.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics. 
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. 
  • NABCEP certification or Journeyman license is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions. 
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks. • Comfortable working on rooftops, ladders, and scaffolding for extended periods.
