 Estimator – Project Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Generate all commercial and residential roofing and solar opportunities
  • Generate accurate plan take-offs and create proposals for all projects
  • Perform all necessary site visits
  • Negotiate all contracts
  • Manage and process projects sold by other Sales Reps as requested
  • Manage projects for all awarded work including but not limited to:
    - Submittals
    - Maintain a solid knowledge base of local code requirements, products, re-roof, roofing processes, solar installation practices, and industry specifications.
    - Create accurate budgets. Confirm material is ordered at best competitive pricing.
    - Communicate with Operations Team during the life of the project.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of construction related experience – roofing experience required - solar PV ideal but not required
  • Must be able to accurately produce job estimates
  • Basic accounting experience
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Must be well organized, have documentation skills and be a self-starter
  • Must have strong work ethics
  • Proficient in Excel and Word
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
  • Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
