Citadel Roofing & Solar is looking for a New Homes Solar Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position based in Vacaville, CA.
Citadel Roofing & Solar is made up of industry veterans with more than 30 years of experience, and a stellar reputation of service excellence to
new construction home builders throughout Northern California.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate commission of each system installed within one week of installation completion.
- Track and report on number of attempted commissions weekly and provide to manager.
- Inspect each system during commissioning to ensure it will pass AHJ/utility inspections.
- Report back to Citadel Superintendent on inspections that will NOT pass AHJ/utility inspections.
- Coordinate AHJ/utility inspections when required.
- Schedule and host inspections. Review system prior to inspector's arrival to ensure inspections pass.
- Submit completed signed-off permits to Citadel Interconnection Team.
- Perform additional duties as assigned and/or directed.
- Be on time to scheduled appointments. If you will be late, communicate this to the customer.
- Ensure that expectations are met and communicated to customer so customer understands what to expect if another visit is needed. Follow up with customer until their system is operating.
- Communicate free time to Superintednents when in their region to determine how you can assist them in daily operations.
Qualifications:
- General construction knowledge preferred but not required.
